Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Oct 10, 2019

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 29 – November 23, 2019

Every Fall Epcot comes alive with even more tastes from around the World…or World Showcase that is.

From the end of August to the last week of November you can sample global cusines at over 40 destinations around Epcot resort.  Rock out with the Eat to Beat Concert Series. Shop for Festival merchanidse and participate in Seminars and Demonstrations.

Make sure to pick up a Festival Passport available throughout the park.  Inside you’ll find

a list of food finds and locations.  You can also find the concert series dates and times.  Passport stickers are provided so you can keep track of each destination you visit.

New to the Festival this year is The Alps setup near Norway.  Where you can find warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with baby potatoes, cornichons and sliced bread.  Venison Stew with crushed potatoes and our favoirte, blueberry and almond frangipane tart..  Be sure not to miss the 4 adult beverage offerings as well.

Also new this year is Emiles Fromage Montage. Try a cheese selection at 5 participating locations and receive a complimentary cheesecake at the end.  YUM!! (details can be found on the last page of the passport or online).

Appleseed Orchard is new to the Canada pavilion this year.  This is mostly, as you can imagine, adult beverages containing some form of apple.  There are a few food selections as well:  A yummy charcuterie and plate and the custest Apple containing Caramel-Apple popcorn…WHAT?  DELICIOUS!!!

Be aware that lines can be quite long on weekend evenings.  Tables can be hard to come by, you’ll find even  garbage can tops are being utilized by thrifty folks in need of a table.

Food tastings average between 5-8 dollars.  Refillable keychains can be loaded to use for Food and Wine purchases.  This is much easier if you’re going to be stopping at several locations.

For the kids this year, make sure to his the Disney Du Jour Dance Party located at the Future World East Stage. Starting at 5:30 every night the kids can rock out at this DJ dance party.  You may luck out and run into some Disney characters or a performance by a Radio Disney artist.

If dancing’s not their thing, the Family Play Zone is a fun playground near Test Track.

Search for Remy on a fun scavenger hunt around Epcot.  Map and stickers may be purchased at Port of Entry, Pin Central, World Traveler or select Festival Markets.

Whether old or young, fast or slow, Epcot Food and Wine Festival has something for everyone.  Hit one of the shops on the way out and pick up a memento of  the 2019 Festival.

So much to see, taste and take in, you may want to return time and time again.
