What you need to know about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

It’s that time of year when there’s a chill in the air and the leaves change to vibrant yellow, orange and red. At Disney’s Magic Kingdom resort that means its time for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The party is a separate ticketed event occurring select evenings in August, September and October. Tickets can be purchased at Disney’s website.

Don your favorite costume (not necessary) and enter the park as early as 4:00 PM. At 7:00 PM regular park guests depart and the party begins!
Be sure to grab a treat bag from a Disney cast member. We suggest bringing one from home as the one provided fills quickly. If you hit every trick-or-treat station you have the potential of leaving with several pounds of candy. Each station will give handfuls of candy. Plan an extra suitcase to take home just for candy!
If you or one of your family members have food allergies be sure to pick up the colored chip when entering which can be exchanged for a special bag specifying allergy friendly treats.

Special party events happen all night. Be sure to catch the Boo To You Halloween parade featuring your favorite Disney villains. The parade happens at 9:15 pm and 11:15 pm. You won’t want to miss the Sanderson Sisters hosting Hocus Pocus Villain Spell-tacular held at 8:30 pm, 10:45 pm and 12:00 midnight. Characters dressed up in their own Halloween costumes will be available for pictures all evening. PhotoPass Magic Shot opportunities will capture some spooky memories.

To top off the evening be sure to get a good viewing spot for Disney’s Not So Spooky fireworks spectacular at 10:15 pm. These events can only be experienced at the Halloween party.

Little ones can dance the night away with some of their Disney Junior favorites at Storybook Circus. New this year is the addition of one our favorites Fancy Nancy!

Special foods and merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the park. Be sure to try the spooky

There is a lot to do before the party ends at midnight. Don’t miss the special Halloween overlays on Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mad Tea Party and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. You might also get the chance to ride those rides that have longer lines during non party hours.

The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is appropriate for kids of all ages and the perfect way to celebrate Halloween.
