Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Disney’s second attraction inside the newly opened Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on December 5th and it definitely has people talking.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is Disney Imagineers most ambitious ride at a whipping twenty minutes long it is sure to live up to the hype-with lifelike animatronic figures and hundreds of special effects.
After a brief encounter with Rey you board a transport ship and have a short briefing by Lieutenant Bek. You must NOT reveal the location of the Bakura Base. It then feels as if the ship is launched into space and soon captured by the First Order with the intent of interrogating you on the location of the resistances hidden base. You escape just before Kylo Ren can get the information and you end with a crash landing on Batu.
This ride is definitely geared to the die-hard Star Wars fan. Some of the lingo may get lost on those who are not. The animatronics alone make this ride a must-do.
